About Me
Born in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture in 1992. Started playing the piano at the age of four under the guidance of his mother. Participated in the national competition of the Pitina Piano Competition in the A2, B, and Junior G levels. Received the highest national ranking in the Duo Beginner A level. Received the Gold Prize in the F level in 2006. Also received the Yomiuri Shimbun Award and the Seitoku University Kawanami Award. Silver medal in the 3rd and 4th year division and bronze medal in the Concerto A category at the Chopin International Piano Competition in Asia. He won first place in the preschool division at the Huppel Peace Memorial Island Tosu Piano Competition, and first place in the 5th and 6th grade divisions, earning him the Junior Grand Prix. In 2007, he won the Audience Award at the Romanian International Competition, and in 2017, he won second place at the same competition, the Romanian Music Association President's Award, and the Future Consultants Award. In 2008, he won first place in the high school division of the Beethoven Piano Competition and third place overall. In 2009, she received the Yasuko Fukuda Award Encouragement Prize, and the following year, as a bonus prize, she performed with the American String Quartet in New York. In 2013, he won the highest prize in the professional division of the Chopin International Competition in Asia, and first place in the Iizuka Newcomer Competition. 1st place at the 2016 Salzburg Mozart Chamber Music Competition. Silver medal at the Kawai Competition S Course.
Overseas, In 1998, he performed at the Japan-Russia Exchange Concert in Moscow at the Gnessin Conservatory Hall, the Pushkin Museum Hall, and the Rachmaninoff Hall. 1st place in Junior Category II at the 2001 Hummel International Piano Competition in Slovakia. In 2003, he won unanimous first place at the Steinway Competition Intermediate II in Paris. In 2009, he won second place, the Audience Award, and the Concert Award at the Steinway International Piano Competition in Berlin, and in 2010 he performed in a concert in Berlin. In 2014, he performed at the Yamaha Japan-Korea Exchange Concert in Seoul, Korea. Recital at Kyungsung University in Busan, Korea in 2015. In 2017, they performed as the opening act at the Kawai Musical Instruments 90th Anniversary Ceremony in Hamamatsu and Shanghai. In 2018, he performed in chamber music concerts at the Yeo Siu Toh Conservatory Hall and Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore. In her fifth grade peace studies class, she heard about landmine removal and realized that "there are many people suffering all over the world." From the sixth grade, she began holding charity concerts around the country every year. She continues to raise money for overseas volunteer organizations, including those involved in landmine removal, Esperanza, Chernobyl, the Great Tohoku Earthquake, and building elementary schools for poor children in Peru. Her charity work was recognized (recommended by Soroptimist International of Fukuoka in 2008-2009), and she won first place in the Violet Richardson Award, which honors young women for their volunteer work. 2016 Suntory Chamber Music Academy 4th term recipient. 2012 Yamaha Music Scholarship recipient. 2017 Munetsugu Angel Scholarship recipient. "Natchan's Great Adventure," a book and picture book co-authored with her mother, Chikako Kuboyama, is published by Hanaransha. She has studied under Ikegawa Reiko, Sugitani Akiko, Takao Yuki, Nakamura Junko, Shinoi Yasuko, Ninomiya Yuko, and Neriki Shigeo. She graduated from Toho Girls' High School in 2011. In 2015, she graduated from the Faculty of Music at Toho Gakuen School of Music with honors, and performed in front of the Emperor at the Toka Gakudo Newcomers Concert hosted by the Imperial Household Agency. In 2018, she graduated from the Graduate School of Toho Gakuen School of Music.
